Ryan Thompson

Ryan Thompson is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in education, consulting, and cybersecurity. Currently serving as the Director of Training at Protexxa since February 2023, Ryan is responsible for overseeing multi-million-dollar cyber training solutions and managing cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives. Prior experience includes almost two decades as a Science Teacher with the York Region District School Board, where Ryan excelled in delivering complex subjects to diverse learners. Additional roles in cybersecurity as a Pentester and Junior Security Consultant reflect a strong skill set in identifying vulnerabilities and assisting organizations with security improvements. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education from York University.
