Gareth Williams

Gareth Williams is the Chief Innovation Officer at Prothea Technologies, leading efforts in the research, development, and commercialization of advanced optical imaging and diagnostic technologies. They have previously held positions as a Research Scientist at the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light and as a Medical Device Designer at The Queens Medical Research Institute. Gareth has a PhD in Chemical Physics from the University of Edinburgh, where they also completed a Master’s Degree. Their expertise includes optical imaging, spectroscopy, and fibre optics, with a focus on applications in healthcare and scientific advancements.
