Edward T. has an extensive work experience in the IT field. Edward began their career in 1996 as the CEO/Co-Founder of Proticom, where they were responsible for determining technology trends and outlining corporate strategy, Technical Sales and Consulting, staffing and client relations, and developing iOS and Python applications for internal use. In 2009, they became the QA Automation Architect at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where they were responsible for hiring and managing a test automation team, providing QA strategy and best practices, and consulting and mentoring on an automation tool framework methodology. In 2010, they became the Senior IT Strategy Manager at Sony Pictures Entertainment, where they managed the transition of the QA department to an offshore vendor for the Division CIO, implemented vendor SLA and audit scorecards, and worked with the vendor to verify resource allocation and perform technical vetting. In 2011, they became the Senior SQA Architect at Perceptive Informatics (PAREXEL) and the Senior QA Strategy Consultant/Engineer at Hoag Hospital. At Perceptive Informatics, they were responsible for providing best practice customization of HP Quality Center and utilization for Agile projects, and developing MS Office Macros in VBA to parse User Stories and Epics from MS Word docs. At Hoag Hospital, they were responsible for managing and developing a strategy for testing Allscripts SCM in the areas of CPOE, eMAR, Orders Reconciliation, KBMA, Desktop Virtualization (VDI), and Legacy Systems, building and managing a team of 25 testers and 3 QA Leads, and utilizing QTP, VBA, and other tools. In 2013, they became the Senior IT Consultant Manager/Performance Engineer at City of Hope, where they provided guidance on QA process for CoE implementation, staffed and structured QA and Training teams, and developed QA strategy for Senior Program Manager. In 2014, they became the Senior Technical Solution Architect at Avery Dennison, where they provided on-call and project based consulting for enterprise application team and multiple divisions globally, provided IT QA strategy advice to utilize current toolsets and technology, and formulated workflows and SLA guidelines for third party vendors. In 2015, they became the Senior IT Strategy Consultant/Architect at UCI Health, where they evaluated the current QA process and tool utilization, provided QA strategy and guidance for upcoming Epic transition, and provided an audit of existing tool license utilization. Finally, in 2017, they became the Senior IT Strategy Consultant at City of Hope, where they provided a plan and pilot for enterprise-wide CoE, presented strategy, plan, and results to executive leadership, and provided strategy and technology consulting for enterprise-wide application roll-out.
Edward T. earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from UC Irvine in 1996. Edward then continued their education at University of California, Irvine Division of Continuing Education from 2011 to 2016, studying Computer and Information Sciences, General. Edward also holds a MIT Professional Education Certificate for Tackling the Challenges of Big Data from MIT Professional Education.
