Paul Oomen

Paul Oomen has a long and varied work experience. Paul began their career in 2007 as an Assistent Manager at Theater Junushoff. Paul then worked as a Student Assistent at Wageningen University from 2007 to 2013. During this time, they also worked as a Pricing Representative at Provimi. In 2013, they began working as a Hatchery Management Consultant at HatchTech - HatchBrood - HatchTraveller. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as a Projectmanager at Kiwa VERIN B.V., where they were responsible for certification, verification and (production and equipment) control services to help farmers, producers, logistics partners, suppliers and retailers to ensure animal health, animal welfare, food safety, food security, sustainability and build customer confidence. Finally, in 2021 they began working as a Biology Manager at Protifarm.

Paul Oomen has a long and varied educational history. Paul began their studies in 1997 at Maurick College, where they obtained an Atheneum in Natuur en gezondheid met natuurkunde 2. Paul then attended Wageningen University & Research from 2004 to 2011, where they obtained a BSc in Dierwetenschappen, followed by an MSc in Animal Sciences and a Master's degree in Animal Sciences. Additionally, they have a certification in Cursus proefdierkunde, ex art. 9 Wet op dierproeven from the Ministerie van Volksgezondheid, Welzijn en Sport.
