Christopher Jackson has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries.
From 2008 to 2009, they worked as an Assistant at Goldrock Capital, where they assisted with research projects and conference management.
In 2009, Christopher served as a Student Consultant at the Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources in British Columbia, Canada. Christopher led a team in developing clean technology policy measures for the province.
From 2012 to 2015, Christopher worked at JLT International Network at Jardine Lloyd Thompson. Christopher initially served as an International Relationship Manager, supporting global risk and insurance solutions. Later, they became a New Business Executive in the Energy and Marine divisions, facilitating meetings with prospective clients and marketing divisional expertise.
In 2015, Christopher worked as a Business Analyst at Elderstreet Investments, specializing in SME businesses and the technology sector. Christopher focused on operational improvement and fundraising for portfolio companies.
From 2017 to 2020, Christopher was a Hydrogen & Fuel Cells consultant at the World Bank Group, analyzing the global market for these technologies and undertaking economic modeling for projects.
In 2017, they also worked as a Project Developer & Fund marketing assistant at Temporis Developments UK, supporting the implementation of electric vehicle supercharger points and developing financial models for Solar PV and onshore wind projects.
Since 2019, Christopher has been involved in various green hydrogen energy initiatives. Christopher is the CEO and Founder of Protium Green Solutions, a green hydrogen energy company. Christopher is also the Co-Host and Founder of "Everything About Hydrogen," a podcast that explores hydrogen and its derivative technologies. Additionally, they served as the Chair of the UK Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Association from June 2020 to August 2021.
In 2020, Christopher became a Director at Deuterium Heating.
Christopher Jackson obtained a Bachelor's degree in Politics with International Relations from the University of York in 2012. In 2014, they also earned a Diploma CII from the Chartered Insurance Institute. Later, from 2015 to 2017, Christopher pursued a Master's degree in Energy, Resources and the Environment and International Economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
