Robert Claasen is a seasoned executive with extensive leadership experience across manufacturing, technology, and interim management, currently serving as CEO a.i. at Protix (2025–present) and as a partner at Custom Management Interim Directeuren (2015–present). They previously served as CEO a.i. at Movares (2023–2024) and as CEO Sodexo Nederland (2020–2023), and held several roles at DSM including Director Corporate Manufacturing (2009–2012) and Director Global Manufacturing Center. Earlier in their career they led Tebodin as Managing Director and Board Member, served as Project Director Russia for DSM Resins, and held positions including Site Manager Filago Italy (2002–2005) and Plant Manager Netherlands; they also served as Reserve Officer WIT team for the Ministry of Defence in 2020, and were Chairman of NAP at Stichting NAP/DACE (2011–2016). They earned an MSc in Chemical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology (1984–1990) and are currently pursuing education at Eckart College.
