John McGarr has over 27 years of work experience, starting as a Market Researcher at Kraft General Foods in 1993 and advancing in roles of increasing responsibility. John has held senior leadership positions such as Chief Impact Officer at Harriesco, and Senior Vice President at Hotspex and Protobrand. John co-founded and served as Director of Strategic Brand Strategy consultancy Fresh Squeezed Ideas, integrating behavioral science and cultural anthropology with research techniques to advise Fortune 500 clients across Canada, USA, and Europe. John is skilled in evidence-based investment, data analytics, and agile methodology, and has collaborated with diverse expertise and specialist talent to deliver breakthrough results.
John McGarr obtained a B.Comm. in Commerce from the University of Guelph in 1989. In 2017, they completed the Executive Education EO Growth Forum program at the London Business School. In 2018-2019, they earned a Post Grad Diploma in Digital Business from Emeritus. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Inbound Sales, Frictionless Sales, and HubSpot Sales Software from the HubSpot Academy in April 2023.
