Simon Ma

Simon Ma has held various roles in the technology industry since 2005. Simon started their career as an Engineer at Perpetual Advance Microelectronic Limited in 2005, where they were responsible for the sale and production promotion of production equipments. In 2010, they moved to Wako Industries Limited, where they were a Product Manager, promoting LED Lighting and the company's technologies solution to Lighting Designers, Architect, and Contractor. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as a Product Manager at Lichton International Limited, where they were responsible for product program planning and product development for categories such as Lighting and Mobile Power Management. Since 2016, they have been working at Protochips as VP of Global Sales and General Manager of Asia, as well as Asia Sales Director, responsible for In-situ TEM system Sales for the Asia market, promoting new technologies and processes to Research institutes, National labs around Asia, and developing markets with business partners and distributors in the Asia region.

Simon Ma obtained their PhD in Physics (Material Sciences) from The University of Hong Kong in 2005, after completing their MPhil in Physics from the same university in 2001.
