Yaofeng Guo

Application Engineer at Protochips

Yaofeng Guo has worked in various roles since 2011. In 2011, they were an Early Stage Researcher at the Institut polytechnique de Grenoble. From 2015 to 2017, they were a FAPESP post-doc researcher at the Universidade Federal de São Carlos. During this time, they also worked as a Researcher at the Colorado School of Mines, where they developed high strength TRIP/TWIP Ti alloys and Co-based high entropy alloys (HEAs) and studied the strengthening mechanism in Al alloys. Since 2019, they have been an Application Engineer at Protochips.

Yaofeng Guo received a Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Beihang University in 2005. Yaofeng then went on to earn a Master's Degree in Materials Science from Beihang University in 2008. In 2011, they completed a Ph.D. in Materials Science from Grenoble INP - UGA. Additionally, Guo obtained a CET6 from the National Education Department in 2004 and a CET4 from the National Education Department in 2003.
