Protocol is the official student club of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at BMS College of Engineering, Bengaluru.

We’re a student-led community of tech enthusiasts passionate about innovation, learning, and collaboration. At Protocol, our mission is to create a space where students can explore emerging technologies, build meaningful projects, and grow — both technically and personally.

Throughout the academic year, we organize a wide variety of events: hands-on workshops, expert-led seminars, hackathons, and coding contests — all designed to sharpen skills, spark curiosity, and bring out the best in our community.

But we go beyond just technical excellence. Every initiative at Protocol is also about nurturing leadership, teamwork, and communication, helping members grow into confident, well-rounded individuals.

We’re also an integral part of BMSCE’s cultural and technical scene. At Utsav, our flagship event AmongUs: In Real Life is a fan favorite, bringing fun and creativity to life in an interactive format. At Phaseshift, our events showcase cutting-edge ideas and technical innovation on a big stage.
