Aarav Mehta

Aarav Mehta is currently serving as a Dev Guild Fellow at Protocol Labs since January 2025. Prior experience includes a Research Intern role at Nethermind, where Aarav drafted a proposal for using Ajtai commitments in Verkle Trees aimed at enhancing post-quantum security. As a Student Software Developer during the Summer of Bitcoin, Aarav contributed over 4000 lines of Rust code, developed a project architecture, implemented a REST API communication framework, and created a taproot PSBT for transaction management. Additionally, Aarav participated in Google Summer of Code, building a Rust library for secure GA4GH API interaction, merging 12 pull requests with over 3000 lines of code. Education includes an Integrated Dual Degree in Mathematics and Computing from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), along with foundational schooling at KDA Reliance Foundation School and Delhi Public School Jamnagar.
