Mel Vera is a Colombia native raised in New York City. After earning a Bachelor's Degree in Entrepreneurship, Economics, and Sustainability from Babson College, Mel founded Atlus, a nonprofit aimed at reducing youth violence and unemployment in Medellin through blockchain and AI education. Mel has held positions such as Executive VP at the Blockchain Education Network and currently directs Ecosystem & Education at DoinGud, while also establishing NFTclassroom.org to promote financial literacy among minority students. Mel co-founded AbraVera ventures and provides advisory services to various companies in the Web 3.0 space, and has been recognized as a Forbes 30 Under 30 fellow twice.
