Alex Devon

Alex Devon is an experienced Manufacturing Engineer currently serving as Manufacturing Engineer II at Protolabs since April 2017, focusing on workflow improvements in metal L-PBF and supporting the launch of additive services. Previously, Alex held roles as Manufacturing Engineer I and 3D Printing Applications Specialist at Protolabs, evaluating additive manufacturing technologies and enhancing customer manufacturability. Prior experience includes working as a Product Development Engineer at Arkansas Regional Innovation Hub, where Alex facilitated client projects and served as an educational mentor, and as a Biomedical Engineer at Medical Technology Transfer and Services, where design and prototyping of neonatal CPAP components were conducted. Academic foundations were established at Clemson University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering.
