Erik Platt

Erik Platt has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Erik is currently the Director of Global Pricing at Protolabs since 2023. Prior to this, they had a significant tenure at Best Buy, where they held roles such as Senior Manager of Decision Science, Manager of Pricing Analytics, and Associate Manager of Pricing Analytics. In these positions, they led initiatives to improve competitive pricing strategies, developed statistical and data science solutions, and managed daily competitive pricing operations. Before joining Best Buy, Erik also worked as a Senior Specialist in Analytics and Reporting and a Quality Analyst. Additionally, they gained experience in customer service and operations at Best Buy as a Consumer Relations Representative. Outside of their corporate experience, Erik served as a Board of Director member for Wheels for Winners and played a key role in developing "Green Teams" as a Senior Leader Committee Member for Badger Volunteers at the Morgridge Center for Public Service. Erik also interned as a Full Cycle Freight Intern for FH King Students for Sustainable Agriculture and worked as a Caller Mentor at UW Foundation.

Erik Platt obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2012. Erik then pursued a Master's degree in Predictive Analytics from Northwestern University, completing it in 2017.
