Joe Taylor is a Senior Design Engineer at Protolabs since September 2015, specializing in day-to-day operations of the Design group, providing technical support, training, and process development. Familiar with proprietary CAD/CAM software, Joe designs injection mould tooling and has previously worked as a Design Engineer, focusing on mould halves, side actions, and inserts based on part geometry. Prior experience includes a brief role at Qi Van Systems, collaborating with a team to create engineering drawings using SolidWorks. Joe holds a Bachelor's Degree in Product Design from Sheffield Hallam University, where studies included advanced CAD/CAM, engineering materials, and moulding and tool design.
