Keith Carter

Keith Carter is an experienced Customer Quality Engineer II at Protolabs since July 2018, specializing in Additive Manufacturing and serving as a Subject Matter Expert. In this role, Keith diagnoses post-sale quality issues by collaborating across departments to identify symptoms and root causes of customer complaints, subsequently determining and communicating effective action plans. Prior to this, Keith worked as an Additive Manufacturing Technical Analyst at Fineline Additive Manufacturing from April 2014 to July 2018, where responsibilities included investigating build failures, determining solutions, and conducting part analysis for optimal build parameters. Keith's experience in the industry began as a Build Prep Technician at Fineline Prototyping, now known as Protolabs, from June 2008 to April 2013, where foundational skills in rapid prototyping were developed through executing build starts and maintenance procedures. Keith holds a degree from North Carolina State University.
