Michael Archambault has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Michael started their career at TimeOut LLC as a Front Sales Technician, where they performed routine maintenance and repairs for customers' watches and jewelry. During their time there, they also developed a simple static website and database to track repairs using MySQL database, Apache web server, and a C++ CGI application.
In 2014, Archambault joined Accusoft as a Software Engineer in Support, where they worked collaboratively with a small group to investigate and develop solutions for customers using Accusoft's SDK. Michael assisted with a broad range of problems, from installation to debugging code and developing samples. Michael then moved on to the role of Software Engineer 1 on the recognition team, where they developed, tested, and maintained software libraries for barcode recognition and automated image processing SDKs. Michael also maintained and improved sample apps for iOS.
Archambault continued to advance their career at Accusoft and became a Software Engineer 2. In this role, they developed, tested, and maintained software libraries for barcode recognition and automated image processing SDKs. Michael also initiated efforts to consolidate, streamline, and improve the usability of QA tools. As a Software Engineer 3, they led a team in migrating a critical SDK component from using Microsoft's OpenXML SDK to LibreOffice. Michael served as a scrum master and guided the team through a continual process of improvement towards following the Scrum Agile SDLC. Michael also prepared and groomed user stories and worked with a software architect to develop the overall structure for the migration and implementation of the new library.
In 2017, Archambault joined Novetta as a Full Stack Software Engineer. Michael was part of a team building a chat application to fit into the existing application infrastructure. In addition to their development responsibilities, they advocated and advanced scrum practices within their team and across multiple development teams.
From 2019 to 2020, Archambault worked at ReliaQuest as a Senior Software Engineer. Michael implemented features for GreyMatter, ReliaQuest's solution for security operations automation. Michael worked with a ReactJS, C#, Python, and Elastic Search stack and participated in all stages of the software lifecycle in an agile environment.
Most recently, Archambault joined ProtoLytic, LLC as a Software Engineer in 2020.
Michael Archambault attended the University of South Florida from 2005 to 2013, where they pursued a degree in Computer Science. During this time, they focused on studying various aspects of computer science. In May 2013, they obtained a certification in Network+ from Comptia.
