George D.

George D. started their work experience in 2003 as an intern at Frigoglass S.A.I.C. where they focused on maintenance activities. After that, in 2009, they completed an internship on business strategy at Alpheon Limited, where they gained experience in business planning and market analysis. In 2010, they worked as a Patent Examiner Assistant at the European Patent Office. George then joined the Bolsius Group in 2011 as a Continuous Improvement Coordinator. From 2012 to 2020, George worked at Proton Ventures in various roles, starting as a Process Design Engineer and later transitioning to Product Manager for NH3/LNG Terminals and deNOx/N2O. Finally, they became the Director of Business Development at Proton Ventures, responsible for identifying new business opportunities and managing stakeholder relationships.

George D. has a strong educational background in engineering and technology. George first attended the University of Patras from 2000 to 2006, where they obtained a Diploma in Chemical Engineering. Following this, George pursued further education at the Technical University of Munich from 2004 to 2005, focusing on Biochemical Engineering. George then studied at Ulster University from 2006 to 2007, where they obtained an MSc in Food Biotechnology. Finally, from 2007 to 2009, George attended Delft University of Technology and completed an MSc in Management of Technology. In addition to their academic degrees, George has also obtained certifications such as the Project Management Professional (PMP®) from the Project Management Institute in 2016 and the VOL-VCA Certification from Ascend examengroep in 2015.
