Sohail Mirza is a PhD student at Imperial College London and also works as a Junior Research Scientist at ProtonDx. Mirza previously gained research experience as a Research Intern at Imperial College London, focusing on projects related to prostate cancer biomarkers and therapy resistance in cancer. Mirza has also demonstrated leadership skills as a Section Supervisor at UK Biocentre, managing a team of lab technicians. Sohail has a background in molecular cell biology, with a Masters of Research from Imperial College London and a BSc from UCL. Prior to their research roles, Mirza worked in various positions including as a laboratory technician during the COVID-19 pandemic, warehouse operative, academic mentor, and general assistant at Sainsbury's.
