Mohan Iyer

Mohan Iyer is a highly experienced biopharmaceutical executive with a strong background in human and planetary health ventures. Currently serving as General Partner at IndieBio since September 2021, Mohan focuses on empowering entrepreneurs to develop impactful companies. Previously, as COO at Pendulum Therapeutics, Mohan revolutionized metabolic health with the first medical probiotic for managing type 2 diabetes. Additional roles include Chief Business Officer at Second Genome, CFO and Chief Business Officer at Tethys Bioscience, and Managing Director at Burrill & Company, among others. Mohan's career spans multiple prominent organizations, beginning as a Senior Process Engineer at Genentech. Mohan holds an MBA from Yale School of Management, a Master's in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University, and a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
