Victor Cadarso

Víctor J. Cadarso currently serves as the Deputy Scientific Director at the Melbourne Centre for Nanofabrication and holds the position of Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer at Monash University, both roles commencing in 2016. As a co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer at Proton Intelligence Inc. since January 2021, Cadarso contributes significantly to the field of nanophotonics, focusing on sensing applications, lab-on-a-chip technologies, and optical biosensors, along with expertise in nanoimprint lithography and integrated optics. Previous roles include a Scientist - Ambizione Fellow at the Paul Scherrer Institut and a Postdoc Researcher at EPFL, where research concentrated on micro and nano-technologies. Cadarso holds a PhD in Physics from Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, earned between 2004 and 2008.
