Tim Bugai

Tim Bugai is currently the Director of Engineering at ProTrainings. Prior to this, they were the Software Development Manager at Service Express from August 2018 to March 2022. In this role, they led several teams, including the enterprise architects and external facing software group. Tim also mentored and trained developers from associate through senior level. Tim helped establish priorities with Product Owners and other stakeholders, and also led platform-wide projects around security, authentication, and scalability.

Before their time at Service Express, Tim was a Senior Software Developer / Team Lead at Collective Idea from August 2011 to August 2018. There, they worked with fortune 100 companies to develop internal applications using Ruyb on Rails, HTML/CSS, and javascript. Tim also worked with clients like Adonit, Stealcase, and Brunswick to develop iOS applications for both internal prototypes and for the public.

Prior to Collective Idea, Tim was a Software Developer at Pillar Technology from January 2010 to May 2011. And before Pillar Technology, they were an Apprentice at Mutually Human Software from January 2010 to December 2010.

Tim's first job was as a Network Administrator at Sparta Area Schools from August 1998 to June 2010.
