David Townsend

David Townsend is currently a Tier 3 SOC Shift Lead at Provalus, where they lead incident response and serve as the primary escalation point for critical incidents. They are Google Cybersecurity Certified and hold ISC2 Certification in Cybersecurity (CC). David graduated from Texas A&M University-Commerce with both a bachelor's and a master's degree in Computer Science, specializing in Cybersecurity, achieving a 4.0 GPA in their master's program. Prior to their current role, they gained experience as a Graduate Assistant, providing support in research and tutoring in various Computer Science subjects. David has also held positions as a Personal Shopper at Brookshire Grocery Company and a Forklift Operator at Walmart.
