Syed Rasool

Syed is a native New Yorker and young professional committed to using finance as a tool of community empowerment. He is currently acting as the Chief Financial Officer for Provision Capital. Previously, he served as a business operations consultant for the first micro-equity fund in Jordan, the Ruwwad Micro-Venture Fund (RMVF). He has also worked as a tax consultant/accountant for private equity and hedge fund clients at Ernst & Young, LLP. Syed holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting and a Bachelor’s in Arts (BA) in Political Science with High Departmental Honors with a concentration in the Middle East and Central Asian Studies from Hofstra University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed to practice in the State of New York. He is fluent in Urdu/Hindi and is proficient in Arabic.
