Mitchell Bompey

Mitchell Bompey currently serves as the Chief Legal Officer at Prove, leading legal initiatives for a company focused on identity verification solutions. As a Founding Member of TechGC, an invitation-only community for General Counsels, Mitchell actively contributes to the sharing of industry knowledge. Previously, Mitchell held multiple roles at Addepar, including Chief Risk Officer and General Counsel, managing legal and risk oversight during significant company growth. An extensive tenure at Morgan Stanley as Managing Director involved advising on technology risk, data protection, and legal support for wealth management products. Early career experiences included positions at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP and Fish & Neave, focusing on intellectual property in corporate transactions. Mitchell earned a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University.
