Todd Van Prooyen has over 17 years of experience in software engineering and architecture. Todd is currently working at Prove as a Staff Software Engineer. Prior to this, they worked at HARMAN International - a Samsung Company for four years as a Senior Principal Software Engineer. While at HARMAN, they led development projects and was responsible for technical architecture, program leadership, and team management. Before joining HARMAN, they worked as the Chief Architect at seidr, where they coordinated and led numerous projects and worked with clients to develop solution designs. Todd also held positions as Data Services Manager at CommunityCentric and Product Programmer /Software Engineer / Conversion Specialist at Vestcom. Todd has experience in developing enterprise-grade cloud-based SaaS projects, improving technical process maturity, and championing standardization of Software Development Lifecycle processes.
Todd Van Prooyen has a diverse education history, having attended the Arkansas School for Mathematics and Sciences from 1995 to 1997, where they obtained their HS Diploma in Advanced Mathematics & Sciences. Todd then pursued higher education at Hendrix College from 1998 to 2001, studying Physics, Fine Arts, and Computer Science but did not complete their degree. In 2005 to 2006, they attained their Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems from the University of Phoenix. Additionally, they obtained two certifications - Microsoft Certified Application Developer .NET and Microsoft Certified Solution Developer .NET - in June 2006 from Microsoft.
