Providence Medical Center is a Critical Access 25-bed, non-profit hospital which remains one of the best small, rural hospitals in northeast Nebraska, employing nearly 200 individuals, and providing state-of-the-art healthcare to more than 15,000 area residents.  PMC offers acute, skilled/swing-bed care, as well as Medicare certified Home Health, Hospice and private pay Personal Care.  Palliative Care is also available.

The hospital currently leases space to Faith Regional, Norfolk NE, for use by the five local physicians and 3 PA-Cs.   Nearly 1000 patients per month pass through the doors of the Providence Outpatient Specialty Services Department which is served by approximately 50 specialty physicians.
