Edward Mann has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Edward began their career in 1977 as a Fire Protection Specialist in the United States Air Force, where they served in various roles including firefighter and recruiter. Following their military service, they worked as an Executive Assistant for the Senate of Pennsylvania from 1994 to 2000. Edward then served as the Former State Fire Commissioner for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania from 2000 to 2015. In 2015, they joined Provident Agency Insurance as a Regional Director before transitioning to the role of Director of Training and Education at Provident. In 2013, they became the Fire Chief of the East Derry Volunteer Fire Company, and when it merged with the Highland Park Hose Company in 2020, they became the Deputy Fire Chief of the Chief Logan Volunteer Fire Department. Edward also briefly served as the Fire Chief (Retired) at the Chief Logan Fire Department from 2020 to 2021. Edward Mann's extensive experience in the fire service industry showcases their leadership and dedication to serving and protecting others.
Edward Mann attended Bellefonte Area High School from 1973 to 1977. After high school, they pursued an education at the Community College of the Air Force from 1977 to 1994, specializing in Fire Protection. Edward also holds a certification as a Fire Officer 3 from the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress.
