Sara Cook

Sara Cook has been working in the food industry since 2012. Sara began their career as a Personal Caretaker Assistant at Stavros. In 2013, they worked as an Employee at The Country Butcher, specializing in fresh hand-cut meats and unique artisan products. In 2014, they worked as a Student Employee at the Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences. In 2015, they worked as a Body Shop Technician Assistant at Artioli Collision Center. In 2017, they worked as a Protein Sales Intern at Cargill, completing a SWOT & Market Analysis and conducting individual interviews. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Procurement at ALL Holding Company, LLC, focusing on coordinating and scheduling transportation of hogs to the plant. Currently, they are a Client Success Manager and Business Analyst at Provision Analytics, and a Customer Success Manager working with Food Safety Consultants, Farmers Markets, and Agriculture Businesses.

Sara Cook's education history includes attending Penn State University from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences Business and Management. From 2016 to 2017, they participated in a Study Abroad Program at Lincoln University (NZ) for Sustainable Agriculture & Environmental Resource Management. In 2015, they also participated in a Study Abroad Program- Costa Rica at The School for Field Studies, studying Spanish for the Agricultural Sciences. From 2010 to 2014, they attended E.O. Smith High School. In addition, Sara has obtained various certifications such as Principles of HACCP from International Haccp Certification Ltd. in 2018, Land Tenure and Property Rights 3.0 (MOOC) from USAID in 2018, Leadership Education And Development Program (LEAD) from Penn State University in 2017, Masters of Beef Advocacy 2.0 from National Cattlemen's Beef Association in 2016, Member- The Pennsylvania State University Chapter from The National Society of Leadership and Success in 2016, Coaly Honor Society Member from Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences in 2015, Penn State Chapter from The National Society of Collegiate Scholars in 2015, FFA State Degree- Storrs Chapter from National FFA Organization in 2013, FEMA Animals in Disaster from FEMA in 2012, PQA Plus Advisor Certified from National Pork Board in 2018, Tranport Quality Assurance Certified from National Pork Board in 2018, and Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) from Pennsylvania Beef Council Inc in 2018.
