Michael Major

Michael Major is an experienced RF Electronics QA Engineer at Provizio, specializing in QA testing of radar system hardware since July 2021. Prior to this, Michael served as a Senior RF Design Engineer at Arralis, where expertise in RF communication sub-systems for New-Space applications was honed, focusing on low earth orbit communications transceivers. Earlier roles at Arralis included RF Design Engineer and RF Prototyping Engineer, contributing to the development of RF transceivers and new product introductions. Michael's career began at MACOM as an RF Test Engineer, followed by tenure at Queen's University Belfast as an Electronics Technician, providing technical support and contributing to research projects. Additionally, Michael worked as an Electronics Technician at Kingspan Environmental, where responsibilities included repair and calibration of test equipment. Educational qualifications include a BTEC HNC and ONC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from Southern Regional College and Belfast Institute of Further & Higher Education, respectively.
