Michael Demarie

Michael DeMarie has extensive work experience in the construction industry. Michael served as the Chief Operating Officer at ProWest Constructors, a general contracting and construction management firm, from July 2017 to present. Prior to that, they held the position of Executive VP at HBI Construction, Inc. for nearly 19 years, from August 1998 to July 2017. HBI Construction is a multi-dimensional general contractor that provides construction services primarily in California, Arizona, and Nevada.

Michael DeMarie has a Master's degree in Psychology from the University of Santa Monica, which they obtained from 1998 to 2000. Prior to that, they earned a MAOM degree in Business from the University of Phoenix, completing their studies from 1996 to 1998.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Michael DeMarie has obtained several certifications. Michael is a certified Procore Project Manager in both Construction Financials and Core Tools, which they received in September 2018. In September 2011, they became a Certified Erosion, Sediment and Stormwater Inspector from EnviroCert International, Inc.

Other certifications include LEED AP BD&C from the USGBC - National Capital Region Chapter, achieved in June 2009, and PMP from the PMI-OC Project Management Institute Orange County Chapter, obtained in October 2003. In September 2002, they became an Associate Member of The American Institute of Architects (AIA).
