Walter Devia

Walter Devia has a diverse work experience in software development. Walter started their career at SinapsisMedia LLC as a Frontend Developer, where they built web applications using JavaScript, React, and AngularJS. Later, Walter worked at TiQal S.A.S. as a Software Engineer, where they built GraphQL services using NodeJS and express, developed web applications using Angular 7+, and created a coding template to streamline development for outsourcing providers. After that, Walter joined SOSAFE as a Full Stack Developer, where they built RESTful services on AWS Lambda to support high-concurrency apps and developed a mobile application using react-native. Currently, Walter is working at Proxet as a Full Stack Developer, focusing on serverless architecture development using AWS services and writing RESTful APIs with Node.js.

Walter Devia obtained their education from Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, where they studied Systems Engineering from 2012 to 2017, specializing in Software Engineering. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications. Walter earned the EF Standard English Test certification from EF Standard English Test (EF SET) in July 2019. In December 2022, they obtained the AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification and the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in August 2022.
