Proxflyer is a Norwegian defense technology company developing low‑observable unmanned systems for special operations and maritime forces operating in contested environments. The company builds on a strong heritage in operator‑focused ISR platforms, with leadership experience drawn from the development and global operational fielding of the Black Hornet system. Backed by approximately USD 8 million in private investment, research and development funding from the Norwegian Ministry of Defense, and an expanding U.S. presence, Proxflyer combines deep operational insight with disciplined engineering to deliver advanced capabilities for allied defense customers.

Proxflyer’s flagship platform, Sea Shadow SSX‑300, is a low‑observable unmanned surface and sub‑surface foiling vessel designed for operations in complex littoral and near‑shore environments. The platform combines high‑speed transit, low‑signature surface loiter, and sub‑surface maneuvering to improve access, persistence, survivability, and tactical surprise in areas where airborne systems and manned assets are constrained. Sea Shadow is payload‑agnostic and modular by design, supporting a wide range of ISR, sensing, and effect‑delivery payloads that allow rapid reconfiguration across mission profiles using the same core vehicle.

With Sea Shadow SSX‑300, Proxflyer delivers a ready, scalable unmanned maritime capability built for operational use in contested environments. The platform is the result of disciplined engineering, sustained user engagement, and a clear focus on deployability and reliability. Proxflyer provides allied defense customers with systems that are ready to field today, while supporting long‑term capability development through modular design and continuous improvement.
