Students get misled, and in a lot of cases, straight-up scammed, by landlords constantly. These stories disappear beyond the victim's close network, so the same landlord does it again the next year and has no problem filling the lease.

Proximity makes those stories permanent. It puts students in a position to make an informed decision on the biggest purchase they'll make in college. With widespread access to honest reviews, accountability follows. Not only does that protect students, but it also rewards landlords who conduct themselves properly and advertise their apartments accurately.

We match students to their perfect off-campus apartments based on their preferences and budget, fueled by these real reviews. Our housing intelligence layer compounds with every review, match, tour, apartment a student walked away from, etc., making the next recommendation better.

Proximity is the friend who's lived everywhere, for every student.

Piloting at WashU, coming soon to SLU and UMSL, and preparing for every campus.
