Derek Pether

Derek Pether is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in procurement, logistics, and operations management. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at Proximity and also as a Procurement Advisor on secondment at the Department of Defence since July 2019, Derek has previously worked with the Australian Department of Health and ActewAGL, where responsibilities included contract administration, supply chain management, and ICT project implementation. Prior roles include Operations Manager at dormakaba and Linfox. Derek holds multiple qualifications, including a Certificate IV in Business Frontline Management from the Australian Institute of Management and an Associate Diploma of Applied Science from Western Sydney University.
