Koen Overloop

Koen Overloop has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as CoE Lead Networking at Proximus NXT since July 2024. Over the years at Proximus, which began in 2003, Koen has held various positions including Teammanager and Center of Excellence Lead for the ICT Networking Team. Previously, Koen worked at Belgacom from January 1993 to January 2002, progressing from Network Operations Administrator to Teamleader. An earlier role at a different company from January 1991 to January 1993 involved hardware and firmware design for customized electronic projects. Koen's career also includes experience as a Technical Support Engineer at Telindus from July 1989 to February 1991. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Electronics Telecom/Datacom from Groep T - Internationale Hogeschool Leuven, earned between 1986 and 1989, and additional education at the same institution from 1983 to 1986.
