Wouter Desmet

Wouter Desmet has extensive experience in procurement and management roles, currently serving as Procurement Lead Manager for the TV Platform & Devices at Proximus since January 2013, following a tenure as Procurement Manager for IPTV & TV Everywhere. Prior to Proximus, Wouter held significant positions at Alcatel-Lucent, including Global Purchasing Manager for Telecom & Multimedia OEM/ODM/Resale and Global Commodity Manager, as well as Business Manager for the Wireline Access Division. Earlier career roles include Sales Support/Bid Manager and Procurement Engineer at Alcatel, and Assistant Plant Manager at Ontex. Wouter holds a degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Electrical Energy Technology from Ghent University, completed in 1995.
