Heather Brooks

Heather Brooks has worked in various roles and positions throughout their career. Heather began in 1996 as a Pharmacist In Charge at Harco Drugs, and later worked as a Pharmacist at Winn Dixie Pharmacy from 1998 to 2001. In 2001, they became the Owner/Pharmacist at IV Solutions, where they handled interpretation, data entry, and preparation of IV medications for Hematology and Oncology practices. After seven years, they left IV Solutions in 2008.

From 2006 to 2018, Heather held multiple positions at Fred's Pharmacy, including Clinical Field Coordinator, Pharmacist In Charge, and District Manager - Pharmacy and Store. While at Fred's Pharmacy, they achieved notable accomplishments such as ranking 2nd and 1st among peers as a Pharmacy District Manager and piloting/co-developing a diabetes care platform.

In 2018, Heather worked as the Director of Pharmacy Services at Coosa Valley Medical Center and as a Pharmacist at Brookwood Baptist Health. Heather then joined ProxsysRx as the Director of Strategic Development. Over time, they progressed to become the Vice President of Pharmacy Services and, most recently, the Vice President of Operations and Services.

Heather Brooks completed their Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) degree at Auburn University from 1992 to 1996. Prior to attending Auburn University, they attended George C Wallace State Community College-Dothan from 1991 to 1992 and Huntingdon College from 1990 to 1991, although they did not obtain a degree from either institution.

Heather Brooks also holds several additional certifications. Heather is a Pharmacy-Based Certified Immunizer from the APhA Foundation, although the year of obtaining this certification is not mentioned. Heather is also certified as a BodyFlow Instructor by Les Mills, a National Smoking Cessation Specialist by the University of Pittsburgh, a Pilates Instructor and Spinning Instructor by the YMCA of the USA, and has completed a course in Sterile Product Compounding at Samford University. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in The Pharmacist and Patient-Centered Diabetes Care from the American Pharmacists Association and as an iLs Practitioner from Integrated Listening Systems, although the specific years of obtaining these certifications are not specified.
