Des Kane is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in leading technology functions across various financial services organizations. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Proxymity since November 2022, Des previously held the position of Head of Product & Engineering - Payments at 10x Banking from March 2021 to November 2022. Des also served as Chief Technology Officer at moneycorp, where leadership involved enhancing technology utilization for cross-border payment solutions in the B2B sector. Prior to this, Des had a long tenure at IG Group, contributing as Head of Enterprise Functions and Group Lead for Back Office IT Development, with a focus on enterprise IT systems and client onboarding processes, alongside managing Java development teams in middleware development.
