Brooklynn Smith

Brooklynn Smith has a diverse work experience. In 2017, they worked as a Life Skills Worker at Mentor Oregon, where they provided support to individuals. Brooklynn also worked as a Research Assistant at Pacific University, conducting ethnographic research on animal subjects and writing manuscripts.

In 2019, Brooklynn worked as a Personal Support Worker at Washington County, assisting individuals in need. Brooklynn also worked as a Barista at Starbucks, serving customers from April 2019 to December 2021.

Starting from 2020, Brooklynn worked at Western Washington University. Brooklynn held multiple roles including Graduate Researcher, where they integrated social psychology theory and methods to understand public perceptions of police-civilian interactions. Brooklynn also worked as a Research Assistant, conducting research on social identities, allyship, prejudice, impostor phenomenon, and posttraumatic stress. Additionally, they served as a Teaching Assistant during this time.

Now in 2022, Brooklynn is a Research Associate I at PRR.

Brooklynn Smith completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Pacific University in the years 2015 to 2018. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Social Psychology from Western Washington University from 2020 to 2022.
