Laura Clark currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at HopeLink Behavioral Health, overseeing all aspects of crisis services operations for a national program with over 200 employees and volunteers. Previously, Laura held the position of In-Home Counselor at Family Teamwork Inc., providing intensive counseling and therapy services. Prior experience includes roles at CrisisLink, where Laura progressed from Crisis Counselor to Call Center Director, managing daily operations and supporting crisis workers. Laura holds a Master of Social Work degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and has received certifications from Living Works in suicide intervention and mental health first aid.

Established in 1963, PRS exists so that individuals living with mental illness, substance use disorders, mild intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and anyone who faces life crises can achieve safety, personal wellness, recovery and community integration. PRS services are provided throughout Northern Virginia and in the District of Columbia. Our unique role in the community enables us to explore and quickly implement innovative models of service and program delivery while maintaining close relationships with our clients, their families and the community at large. Those services include: Recovery Academy Day Programs, Community Support Services, Employment Services, Community Housing, and PRS CrisisLink. PRS clients are persons living with severe mental illnesses (such as schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder or major depression), mild intellectual disabilities, substance use disorders, autism spectrum disorder, and anyone who faces life crises. PRS’ experience shows that with the proper services and support, our clients can and do increase their independence and self-sufficiency. With PRS supports, clients are taking critical steps to leading strong and fulfilling lives.
