Sam YIP

Sam Yip is an experienced data professional with a strong background in data science and analytics. With a Master's degree in Mathematics from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Sam has held key positions at various organizations, including Hong Kong New Territories Realty Association Limited as a Database Specialist, where a relational database for member information was developed, and AXA as a Data Scientist, focusing on machine learning algorithms and customer behavior analytics. Subsequent roles at Cigna involved the development of customer lifetime value and segmentation models, while a tenure at 蚂蚁金服 included applying machine learning for fraud detection. Currently, Sam serves as a Senior Manager in People Analytics at Prudential Hong Kong, leveraging machine learning to enhance employee experience and efficiency. Recognized for contributions to the field, Sam is a faculty member of the Marketing Analytics Boot Camp and received the 2015 Q2 Cigna Rising Star award.
