David Sheffield

David Sheffield, PhD, is a data science product owner with a strong background in experimental particle physics. They earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Particle Physics from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Brown University. Their experience includes teaching at Rutgers University, contributing to the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) Experiment at CERN, and holding various data science roles at Prudential Financial, where they currently serve as Director, Data Scientist. Sheffield is actively involved in the CMS Collaboration at CERN, focusing on the search for new particles beyond the Standard Model.
