Michael O'Connell

Michael O'Connell possesses extensive experience in software development and IT management. Currently serving as Team Lead for Software Development at Prudential Financial since January 2006, Michael designs and implements web-based applications and dashboards, focusing on Java web services within a WSO2 Carbon environment. Previously, as IT Director at Sungard Kiodex from April 2005 to January 2006, responsibilities included managing corporate IT infrastructure across various systems. Earlier in the career, Michael worked as a Software Developer at Kiodex from September 2000 to April 2005, specializing in J2EE web services for commodities trading risk management. Michael holds a Master’s degree in Manufacturing Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, both from New Jersey Institute of Technology.
