Catherine Cheng is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in financial management and reporting within the insurance industry. Currently serving as Director of Group Finance at Prudential plc since December 2022, Catherine previously held the role of Director of Finance IFRS 17 for Asia at Sun Life from January 2020 to December 2022. Catherine's career at Prudential plc began in April 2011, progressing from Group Reporting Accountant to Group Finance Manager, where contributions included implementing IFRS 17 and managing Solvency II Pillar III reporting. Earlier roles include Financial Controller at Commerzbank AG and Accountant at Hudson.
