Mark Thompson

Mark Thompson is an investment professional with extensive experience in pension fund management and investment strategy. They currently serve as a Trustee of the Prudential Staff Pension Scheme and are a Committee Member for Lloyds Banking Group Pensions Trustees Limited. Mark has held various leadership roles, including Chief Investment Officer at HSBC Pension Scheme and Investment Director at Prudential Assurance/M&G Investments. They earned a BSc in Economics (First Class Honours) from Queen Mary College, London University, followed by an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Mark also actively participates as Chair of Trustees of the M&G Pension Scheme and serves on the Independent Governance Committee for Scottish Widows.
