Sophie Bent

Sophie Bent is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in corporate affairs and public relations. Currently serving as Senior Director of Corporate Affairs at Prudential plc since May 2024, Bent has held senior roles at Afiniti as SVP of Communications and VP of Corporate Communications from May 2021 to September 2023. Prior positions include Senior Communications Director at Dow Jones for over five years, where involved in corporate communications strategy for the EMEA region, and various management roles at Golin, including Senior Manager - Corporate. Bent's career also includes experience at the European Economic and Social Committee and GHC ASIA, as well as a role as Director of Communications at AERIS Magazine. Educational qualifications include a Master of Strategic Public Relations from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Commerce (Liberal Studies) from the same institution.
