Janetta Stringfellow

Chief Development Officer at PRX

Janetta Stringfellow was born in 1965 in Brooklyn, New York. Janetta graduated from Harvard University in 1987 with a degree in American Janetta'story. After graduation, they worked as a producer at the National Geographic Society from 1988 to 1995. Janetta then left to work as an associate producer at VH-1 from 1995 to 1996. In 1999, they began working in development at the Brooklyn Heights Montessori School, where they remained until 2002. Janetta then took a position as Director of Development at the Commonwealth School, where they worked until 2017. In June 2017, they became the Director of Institutional Advancement at the Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University, where they remained until December 2020. Janetta is currently the Chief Development Officer at PRX.

Janetta Stringfellow has an ALM in Creative Writing & Literature from Harvard Extension School, a B.A. in Classical Studies from Colgate University, and a High School Diploma from Western Reserve Academy.
