Anna Wright

Anna Wright has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Anna currently holds the position of Vice President of Marketing and External Communications, North America at Prysmian Group since 2022. In this role, Anna is responsible for developing and leading the marketing and external communications strategy for the North American region. Anna collaborates with Legal and outside counsel to protect the company's brands, patents, and marks worldwide. Anna also provides guidance and direction to other regions within Prysmian Group regarding their marketing communications efforts.

Prior to their current role, Anna worked at Northern Kentucky University from 2017 to 2022. Anna served as the Senior Director of Strategic Communications, overseeing major functions such as executive communications, public relations, external communications, internal communications, and university magazine. Anna supervised the University Communications team, handling employee development, engagement, and project scheduling. Anna also focused on enhancing NKU's visibility in the media and positioning its executives and deans as thought leaders in higher education. Before becoming the Senior Director, Anna worked as the Director of Public Relations at NKU.

From 2013 to 2017, Anna worked as the Media Relations Manager at Dinsmore & Shohl LLP, a national law firm. In this role, they managed external communications, public relations, and community outreach initiatives for the firm. Anna collaborated with firm leaders and individual attorneys to promote their practices and establish thought leadership.

Before their time at Dinsmore & Shohl LLP, Anna worked at AVI-SPL from 2010 to 2013 as an Event, Resource, and Project Manager on-site at Ethicon Endo Surgery. Anna was responsible for managing events, resources, and projects at the company.

Anna began their career in the media industry, starting at Local 12 WKRC-TV as a News Anchor and Public Relations Representative from 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, they worked at KSPR-TV from 2003 to 2005 as a News Anchor and Producer. Anna also gained experience at KNOP-TV from 2001 to 2003, where they served as a News Anchor, Producer, Reporter, and Weathercaster. Their earliest role was at KOMU-TV from 2000 to 2001 as a Reporter and Anchor.

Throughout their career, Anna has demonstrated expertise in strategic communications, media relations, public relations, marketing, and team management. Anna has a strong background in both corporate and media environments.

Anna Wright attended the University of Missouri-Columbia from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Journalism degree with a focus on Broadcast/Television.
