Bernhard Spatzek

Bernhard Spatzek is an experienced professional in the payment services and financial technology sector, currently serving as the Head of Card Based Products at PSA Payment Services Austria GmbH since January 2016. In this role, Bernhard leads a team focused on innovating payment solutions in Austria. Prior to this, Bernhard held several positions at Western Union International Bank, including Senior Manager of Product Development and Senior Manager of Implementation and Integration, where responsibilities encompassed regulatory initiatives and prepaid product management. Earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Project Manager and Senior Business Analyst at SIX Card Solutions, and as a Scientific Project Manager at Austrian Research Centers, co-founding a competence center for computer vision. Bernhard's career began in database application development after earning a Master's degree in Computer Science from Technische Universität Wien.
